When I was running the Göteborg Vintagestore, I discovered several clever ways the vintageclothes where carefully mended. I fell in love in the techniques, the patchworks and the small running stitches.
I did alot of research of how garmets where mended across continents and started to taught mending workshops in my studio.
It quickly led to another, and now I have hosted dozens of workshops : )
Hopefully I have encouraged people to "reduce, reuse and recycle".
The term in Japanese express a sense of regret over waste; the exclamation "Mottainai!" can translate as "What a waste!"
